Baptism & More on Apostoic Succession

 Sister V -

Heresy of Baptism-

Understand that no one in the bible was ever saved by anything other than faith and faith alone! Faith that came by hearing the word of God.  Adam, Eve, Abel and others prior to the flood were saved by faith and faith alone.  Job “I know that I will see my Redeemer” was saved by faith and faith alone, just like those above.  Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him has righteousness.  Again faith and faith alone.  David, Joshua, the prophets, and the list goes on and on.  People sanctified by God through faith.

but God, being rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have you been saved),

Ephesians 2:4

For by Grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God.

Ephesians 2:8

Funny thing, isn’t it?  Here we have Paul, writing Scripture (the Word of God) as affirmed by Peter, and writing about salvation.  Nothing is said about baptismal regeneration. One is saved by faith and faith alone.

Again, in the Scripture of the Letter to the Romans, Chapt 2, Verse 7

for there is no respect of persons with God

This means that everybody will be treated justly and under the same terms.  God will not require some to be saved by baptism, others by circumcision, and still others by faith.  The belief in baptismal regeneration is a heresy against the Godhead!

Jeus says in John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosovever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.

Sister, are YOU a "whosover?"

Consider the word, salvation.  Is salvation temporary?  Can one be saved and then lose their salvation?  Can our Savior save you only temporary and still be The Savior He is procliamed to be?  Can you be saved through baptism, lose that salvation, but be resaved by some other sacrament?  No, sister, no!  No to all of these things.  You can be saved by faith alone and that salvation is permanent.  The Greek word for salvation means to be healed, cured, ensured of salvation.  It is a permanent term.  It means once saved alway saved because first to last it is a work of God.

Again, Sister, are you a "whosoever?"

Tell God you want to believe in Christ the right way. Tell Him that if you are a sinner doomed to hell, that you need His help to change course.  Pray to Him that He will reveal the truth to you.  Tell Him that you want to be a "whosoever" so that you can have eternal life.

Heresy #3: Apostolic Succession

As I have pointed out in my book, in the section related to this and the appendix, apostolic succession is false for many reasons, but here is one particulary glaring reason.  So many of the popes and were evil, and, though I did not point this out, so were the priests and “bishops/archbishops/cheep cheeps (cardinals) No, I do not have ANY respect for their offices.

Consider that even today these bishops, (alleged to be the picks of the Holy Spirit) continue their depravity.  The now President of Paraguay, Lugo, had at least two, probably 3 or more, femaie bed patners when bishop.  He had children by two or more of these lovlies.

"Celibacy is flawed,"  he sniffled.

This "Holy Spirit" picked Bishop is a fornicator.  Fornication is a sin denounced in many places in the Bible. Picked by the Holy Spirit indeed.   This is just one of the many ways that Rome tries to show God as a liar.

Aside from this Scripture clearly states that apostolic succession it is not possible.  Again this is revealed in what Peter points out to be scripture, the writings of Paul.

An Apostle is one who has seen Jesus in the flesh, and to whom He appeared after His resurrection.  Since no such person exists today, there are no apostles!  Again, Scripture as attested to by Peter and written in Paul’s 1st epistle to the Corithains.  Chapter 15:3 ff

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. 8Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me. For I am the least of the apostles,

Veronica, does ALL mean ALL?   Or a better way of putting it, what does All mean?  The Greek word is "pasin".  It is the genitive of  "pantos".  It means “all, full, absolute".   Since He appeared to all, the whole gang as described above, they ain’t no mo.  All the apostles were physically dead and in the presence of the Lord by the first part of the 2nd century.

Rome’s claim to apostolic succession is a lie. But that is not a new revelation.
