Barabara, No I did not post all of your scriptures, nor have I read them nor did I post any of them yet. Your statement that I did not post all of them is, like the rest of what you write, is deceptive. Again NONE have been posted. Just a couple of things about this your most recent email. Christian Classics Ethereal Library hasl NOT removed my ad. Either you or they are lying in the letter you state that they wrote. You can prove that they wrote one, can you not? Along with your mishandling of scripture you would not have a lie added to it would you? The last communication I had with CCEL was just after the 1st ol the month inviting me to renew. I have not, and I am weighing the decision against some other moves I might make. Is it possible that now after your "crusade" that they will not allow me to place another ad? I have no idea. Maybe you, with all your influence, could direct them to write me a letter of rejection. Oh, better yet, perhaps you might want to post a scanned copy of their original letter to you. How about it? Now Barbara, Barbara, I cannot understand why you are in such a dither. In my book I used some very legitimate Roman Catholic sources for my material. The fact that it all opposed the Word of God is not my fault. It is the fact of reality. Catholis teaching is man made and that is paganism. Oh yes, in your original email you suggested that I attend a mass as it will have more scripure in it than a whole service in my church. Duh? Barbara, I have for 38 years attended a bible teaching church. Where for 45 iminutes in Sunday School, one hour in the morning service, and one hour in the evening service, the word is faithfully exposed verce by verse through one book at a time. And that mass, it no Christian attributes. Eating the body and blood of the Lord has more to do with Mythraism than Christianity. Besides, if you will read John 6:63 (this comes on the tail of the discussion with the Jews about eathing His flesh and Blood) He says this: It is the spirit that giveth life; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I have spoken unto you are spirit and life.
You see, Barbara, that poker chip you chew on is NOT the Lord's flesh. If it was HE says that protits NOTHING. His words that He spoke were Spirit and Life. It is just as He spoke to the woman of the well in John 4. She had a spiritual thurst. She was dead in her sin and needed to be born of the Spirit to satisfy it. She needed to drink of the Lord's words to satisfy that thirst. Which she did and was eternally satisfied, as were several others of her village. Barbara, this is what you need. You need to be born of the Spirit and immediately, through the word of Christ you will be in constant communion with all the saints, now in the tlesh and also those that are out of the body and present with the Lord. In doing this you will also be in constant communion with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit, for it will be God that indwells you and begins to clean you up from the inside out, so that when your spirit leaves your body at physical death it will go immedieately into the presence of the Lord in Heaven. Just like the thief on the cross, Barbara, just like the thief on the cross. Luke 23:43
"And He said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt though be with me in paradise."
Think of it, the thief on the cross did not spend anytime at all in purgatory. Why? Because no purgatory exists, further it is totally uneeded. God cleans His sons and daughters up from the inside out, while they are still here in the flesh. When we go to be with Him in paradise, we will be, like the thief, perfect. The only other alternative to paradise is Hell. With the beliefs that you have proferred, that is where you appear to be headed. But you need not make that trip. Oh, Barbara, look at the attachment entitled 1st to Hope. It is about Old Testament saints that were saved by faith and faith alone, in hope of the coming seed. Neither did they EVER spend any time in that non existent place called purgatory. You can be saved the same way, except their hope was the coming of Christ, an our reality is that Christ has come. He died on the cross for the sins of the world. He died for you Barbara, you, and me and the whole world. Why? Because we were all born in sin and are sinners. He died for us because God so loved the world (John 3:16) that He sent His Son that whosover believes in Him would have eternlal life. Whosoever, Barbara, whosoever. Are you a "whosoever? Please, Barbara, notice closely, that this is a clear promise from God. He says nothing about getting hosed down in baptism, or eating His body, or going to confession, or having the magical spells cast upon us by Extreme Unction, or spending time in purgatory. He just says that you have to be a "Whosoever" and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pretty simple, but it has to be for us simple folk. Won't you join us in fellowship around His word and be a "whosoever?" I pray that you do. In Christ, and HE in me. Larry Ball
