In my book, I cite the MSNBC story reporting that in a release in July, 2007, the Pope said that many "churches" were no more than ecclesial communities and that they lack the means of salvation.  This, I said, was the pope saying that all protestants were damned.

Well, a Christian brother from the twin cities (Minneaoplis/St. Paul) said I was guilty of an "outright lie!"  Well, this is serious stuff i reasoned and determine to see what the pope had really said.
