I think it is extremely important to begin at the beginning and the Garden/Genesis is a great beginning. This explains man's opposition/sin nature and rebellion against God, which is a wise opening to a difficult subject. When I speak to Catholic apologists, they immediately accuse me of "Catholic bashing" and "ignorant" to their teachings, no matter how many of their own doctrines, taken from their own websites, I present to them. Their attempt at making any and all "Protestants" appear foolish is a full time job for them; therefore, by opening up your book to "all" men and not just Catholics is a good way not to hit Rome with a hammer without first explaining the Scriptural basis of man's condition - all men. Secondly, giving the places/websites where one can find more information, along with the Bible verses is deeply helpful. I cheated and went to the back of the book to read the history of the popes - and if that doesn't make one question the infallibility of these men, nothing will; as the apologists excuse bad behaviour by saying "only a very few popes were evil" - your listing debunks that excuse! I no longer have a copy of Lorraine Bottiemer's book Roman Catholicism, written in the early 50's; it's been a long time in between a sound, Spirit-led book exposing Rome has come along, but I would say that your up-to-date book is greatly needed. All those who claim Christ as Saviour should read it, as a reminder why Rome calls us "Protestants". Unfortunately, not many non-Catholics are protesting these days; I would suggest that every church that remains true to Christ i.e. the Reformed Presbyterians/Baptists should advise its members to read this book.
